Responsible Gambling
Parimatch (operator of the website https://parimatchde.net/de) is a gambling operator licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (legal basis: National Ordinance on Games of Chance (LOK), P.B. 2024, Nr. 157) and headquartered in Curaçao. Responsible gambling is a core part of our company philosophy. We believe that gambling should remain a form of entertainment and must never lead to financial, social or psychological harm. This page informs you about the protective measures, limit-setting options and external support resources that Parimatch provides to its customers.
Minimum Age and Age Verification
Use of Parimatch's services is permitted only to persons aged 18 or older, or the minimum legal gambling age in the customer's country of residence, whichever is higher. As part of the registration process and the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) procedure, Parimatch verifies the age and identity of every customer using official documents. Accounts where doubts exist regarding the user's legal age are suspended until verification is completed.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling Behaviour
Gambling can become a problematic behaviour pattern for some individuals. Typical warning signs include, among others, loss of control over the amount wagered or time spent playing, chasing losses through increasingly higher stakes, neglect of work, family or social contacts, as well as concealing one's own gambling behaviour from close relatives or friends. If you notice one or more of these signs in yourself, we recommend using the protection tools described below and, if necessary, contacting a specialised counselling service.
Self-Control Tools (Limits)
Parimatch provides every registered customer with various limit-setting functions through the personal account area, allowing active management of one's own gambling behaviour. Once set, limits can generally only be increased after a waiting period, but can be decreased immediately at any time. Limits can be set up in the "My Account" section.
- Deposit limits – restriction of the maximum deposit amount per day, week or month
- Loss limits – restriction of the maximum permitted net loss within a defined period
- Bet limits – restriction of the maximum stake per game or wager
- Time limits – restriction of the daily or weekly usage duration of the platform
Self-Exclusion
Customers who wish to temporarily or permanently stop participating in the gambling offer can request voluntary self-exclusion through our Support Team. During the exclusion period, access to the account and participation in all games and bets offered by Parimatch is blocked. Parimatch also reserves the right to impose an exclusion on its own initiative if signs of mental illness or excessive gambling dependence are identified.
Proactive Monitoring and Operator Responsibility
Parimatch has internal systems in place to detect risky gambling behaviour. Unusual patterns – such as unusually high stakes, frequent and rapid top-ups, or extended gaming sessions – are recorded and evaluated. Customers identified as being at increased risk are proactively contacted by our Support Team to highlight protective measures and, where appropriate, to suggest voluntary limits.
External Support Resources and Filtering Software
In addition to Parimatch's internal tools, we recommend that customers who need support controlling their gambling behaviour contact independent counselling services or install external filtering software that technically restricts access to gambling websites.
- Gamblers Anonymous – www.gamblersanonymous.org.uk
- Gambling Therapy – www.gamblingtherapy.org
- BetBlocker – betblocker.org (free filtering software)
- Net Nanny – netnanny.com
- Gamblock – gamblock.com
- Gamban – gamban.com (free trial available)
Contact and Complaints
For questions about responsible gambling, setting up limits, or self-exclusion, our customer support is available at [email protected] and via Live Chat, available 24/7. Complaints related to responsible gambling are acknowledged within 2 business days and are generally resolved within 5 business days, with this deadline extendable by up to two weeks in complex cases. If a complaint remains unsatisfactorily resolved after Parimatch's final response, the customer has access to a free, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedure that is binding on both parties. Violations of applicable regulatory provisions can also be reported directly to the Curaçao Gaming Authority at [email protected]. Further information on limits is available at https://parimatchde.net/de/deposit-limits, and on the principles of responsible gambling at https://parimatchde.net/de/principles-responsible-gambling.
